I’d say the best aspect of this truck is its non-messed-with condition – it’s exceedingly original which paves a broad way for whatever direction the next owner wishes to take. And, other than fixing the badly ruined seat, the remainder can wait. As I have often stated in the past, these truck interior environments are small and contained, so doing some sprucing up isn’t really a daunting task. Unlike Chevrolet’s passenger cars of the era, this truck does employ an instrument panel that employs engine gauges, a nice inclusion. It’s pretty well a tin can environment with steel door panels, no headliner sound deadening, and a hard steel dash. The interior is a great example of the endless uses for duct tape. The listing mentions that brake work is needed. I have to say that the engine is surprisingly grimy looking for recently having been rebuilt and I’m not sure what’s up with the smoking problem. The seller adds, “ It smokes a bit now but runs well enough to drive and load onto carrier/tow-truck“. The engine is said to have been rebuilt about 13K miles ago. Power is provided by a 170 gross HP, 292 CI, in-line six-cylinder engine doing its torquey best via a four-speed manual transmission. The glass is said to be good and it’s nice to see that the tailgate is still attached – I encounter a surprising number of old trucks where it’s missing. The body is pretty straight, especially considering that this was an actual work truck, though there is some rust-through noted, along with a lot of top-side surface rust. It has been sitting for about fifteen years but it recently started right up in spite of its extended slumber. It’s a longer wheelbase model with a 127″ stretch and a wooden cargo bed that has seen better days. The seller’s father bought this truck new, in 1965. There is a BIN price of $9,988 available too. Located in Sonora, California, this still in the family C-10 is available, here on eBay for a current bid of $4,495 with the reserve not yet met. The seller informs us, “ This can be on the road again with minimal expense“. And today’s find, a 1965 C-10 is about as original an example as one is likely to encounter. Even though the first generation of Chevrolet’s C series pickup trucks (’60-’66) hasn’t reached the collectibility heights that the second-gen (’67-’72) “Action Line” variety has attained, they’re still popular. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() How to Backup Database in PHP and MySQL Free Source code and Tutorial – folder components The image below displays the folder and file components of the project. ![]() Text editor (VS Code, Sublime, Brackets), download and install a text editor of your choiceġ.You need the following tools for creating and following this tutorial: To integrate and apply the source code in your projects.Create a front-end in Bootstrap where users can backup the database by just clicking the Backup button.Save and download the database to our backup file.Create a PHP script that connects to MySQL database and select the database we want to backup.Objectivesīy the end of this tutorial, you will be able to: This article will guide you through the development of backup script in PHP and MySQL. I was wrong.Īnd: Looks like Daniel Miller will be back for season 2. In fact someone said that to me about two months ago and I defended the show. Some people would call this Muslim baiting. Particularly if you center it on the issue of alleged Muslim terrorism and child brides. That’s what I call opportunistic storytelling. Don’t create a character that you halfway flesh out (Claire), only to kill her off in a really cheap, Perils of Pauline sort of way, and then tell me that it was all for nothing anyway. You want morality? I’ll give you a sermon. This latter point - the preachiness - sticks in my craw particularly because the episode reveals that the major multi-episode plotline around the Iosavas was a CIA fake. ![]() This goes for overly convoluted plots as well as any moral dimension that we’re being asked to accept. I really can’t say enough: the story must tell itself. Many things are still implausible plot lines and characters were more or less dropped (why the hell were they even in Panama? Why show a picture of Gerald and Joker if they weren’t coming back? Daniel’s parents’ past what happened to Patricia?) and the sermon that we get at the end about whistleblowing - all I can say is - if that is the point of the show, then you need to show it to us all the way through the show rather than dropping a moralistic and blatantly partisan exhortation about it at the end. Guided by veteran Hector DeJean, Daniel learns to contend with the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent: agent-running, deception, the dangers and moral compromises.TL DR summary - this was one of the better episodes in some ways, and I wish we’d seen more such visceral exchanges between the characters and open expressions of emotion and effective characterization throughout the series.
